Taking all the best elements of 3rd edition Dungeons & Dragons (now legally known as “The Worlds Oldest Role Playing Game” by everyone that isn’t WotC), and kept the game firm within it’s classic roots. In a pinch, the smith might even be able to use a waterskin or treasure sacks to cobble together bellows. It has a IGO-HUGO turn sequence, a CRT, Hexes, a Terrain Effects Chart and all the other accoutrements of your typical 1970s wargame. Those ideas, while understandable, were wrong. More elaborate judgement will have to await a chance to actually play the game, but my initial impressions were positive.
